The 80 labels in Galison's Kimono trifold book of labels are decorative and prevent gift mixups! They are also handy for labeling files and boxes, or for decorating envelopes.
Galison worked with London's Victoria and Albert Museum to create this pretty set of labels. The colorful chrysanthemums, camelias, and other flowers illustrated are from a kimono fabric from a Japanese sample book, c. 1937, in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
