Description

Colorful songbirds star on lovely Audubon Warblers cards that are perfect for any note-writing occasion.

Galison designers worked with the New York Public Library to use images from hand-colored lithographs in their copy of The Birds of America by John James Audubon, published in New York and Philadelphia from 1840-1845.

Sixteen cards include four each of:
  • a Cerulean Wood-Warbler (also on the box's lid)
  • Nashville Swamp Warblers enjoying the red berries of Swamp Spice
  • a Mourning Ground-Warbler perched on a Pheasant's eye plant
  • a Blue-winged Yellow Swamp Warbler perched on a gigantic Cotton Rose Hibiscus grandiflorus

The sturdy decorative box holds cards and envelopes neatly, and when the cards have been sent, it's great for storing tickets for birdwatching walks, found feathers, or the cloth to clean your binocular lenses.

  • 4 cards each of 4 images
  • 17 buff-colored envelopes
  • Sturdy decorative box with hinged lid and magnetic closure
  • Box measures 5 x 6 x 1-1/4"
