Our History
Over the years, Galison has worked with museums, non-profit organizations, and businesses to create private label custom projects. From imprinting and customizing existing formats to developing new products, this segment of our business continues to grow! We design and manufacture reasonably-priced, useful and attractive paper products for home, office, school and play. Whether it’s an imprinted Weekly Organizer to give to your preferred client list or a customized Play Scene to retail in your chain of stores, we have formats to make an impact and designs that are a joy to behold.

Our Private Label department works with a range of clients — from well known brands as American Eagle, Target, LeSportsac, Cirque du Soleil and cultural institutions such as The Metropolitan Opera, The Guggenheim, MoMA, to small specialty stores — all with the same goal in mind — conveying a presence of quality, practicality and affordability.

How do we do this? By asking questions, listening, suggesting. By using a creative and down-to-earth approach catered to each particular case — to understand who the end-user will be and what message needs to get across.

Businesses
Bestowing Target’s bullseye on our Modern Geometry home office line made perfect, pragmatic sense at their regional sales meetings; putting LeSportsac’s quirky patterns on our Write On Journals were a fun way to let their customers sing in their own style; and by imprinting her company name, Sweet Charity, on a smattering of our Mini Notes and using them as a giveaway, one Brooklyn boutique owner let her customers know just how much she appreciates their business.

Cultural Institutions
Fine art, opera, dance – at Galison/Mudpuppy we love it all and our work with such esteemed cultural institutions as The Metropolitan Opera, The Guggenheim and MoMA are projects that are as fun as they are important.

Product Imprinting
Using a variety of our formats and hot-foil imprinting is a wonderful way to get a brand name across in an inexpensive and timely manner. The fact that there are no minimums required and that you can choose a smattering of items only sweetens the deal. It’s easy for us to do and makes a lasting impression.
