1) Items I would like to purchase don’t stay in my cart.
or I log in to my account, but the website doesn’t seem to remember that I’ve logged in and keeps asking me to do so again.
Answer to both problems: We find that in almost every case, this happens when your computer’s security settings deny our website the ability to place cookies.
A layperson’s guide to enabling cookies in Internet Explorer: If you are using Internet Explorer, you could go to TOOLS on your toolbar, then from the drop down list choose INTERNET OPTIONS, the PRIVACY tab, then look for the SITES button. That should take you to a screen where you can type in sites you choose to allow to place cookies on your computer. Add www.galison.com. We’re safe!
2) Q: When I add a shipping address that’s different from my billing address, the website changes my billing address to match the shipping address.
Here are the steps for placing an order with a shipping address that is different from the billing address. Please note that the whole order must be shipped to the same shipping address.
1. After you fill in your billing address, the last line has a bullet box choice for “is this also the shipping address”, so click “no”.
2. The next screen shows you any addresses you have in your account’s address book. If you don’t see your shipping address, click the “Add Address” option.
4. Select the newly added shipping address by clicking on the rectangle that says “Select” below the address you want to use for this shipment. Continue to checkout.

3)I can't complete the transaction! What's wrong?
Are you ordering from or having your order shipped to a country other than the U.S.A. or Canada? If so, we're sorry, but we can't process your order online. Please e-mail us your shopping cart page or a list of what you would like to order along with your shipping address firstname.lastname@example.org and where you would like to have it shipped, and we will get back to you within a business day to let you know the shipping charges and to help you place your order.
Papernation is a well-respected British retailer with expertise in shipping to many other countries. Amazon does such a large volume of business that they can fulfill international orders from individual customers much more economically than we can directly. Not all our products are available at Amazon, though: if you really have your heart set on something you can't find at Amazon or at Papernation, e-mail us a list of what you would like to order and where you would like to have it shipped, and we will get back to you to let you know the shipping charges and to help you place your order: email@example.com.
