A good challenge!

A beautiful puzzle, with such bright colors! A challenge...but then that's what we want...isn't it? This puzzle might not be for the novice puzzler.

A good challenge

The printed image is shiny which adds to the challenge. You need good light to see the differences in the oranges/pinks/reds while assembling. The hardest of the three puzzles I ordered (Intergalactic Flora/Frank Lloyd Wright Midway Mural)

Beautiful but incredibly difficult!

Let me start out by saying that poppies are my favorite flower hence why I chose this puzzle and subsequently why, at present, I'm continuing to persist with it despite it being overwhelmingly difficult. I just wanted to jump on here and say to anyone whose considering purchasing this puzzle that I 100% agree with the other reviewer whose enjoyment was totally hampered by frustration as that is the sentiment I encounter whenever I attempt to make progress with the puzzle. Perhaps you relish a challenge but I'm someone who normally starts and finishes a 1000-piece puzzle in three days and it's been a week now and I haven't progressed beyond the border and a few blossoms and I fear I will have to abandon it in favor of sanity! I will have to make that call shortly. It's a shame because it's such a beautiful puzzle with a lovely high gloss finish to it and perhaps that it why I'm struggling so much as the light glints off it so much it's impossible to distinguish the colors well. I hate feeling like a failure, especially when puzzles are a hobby of mine and something that I do to relax and switch off, but this is the second Galison puzzle I've "gnashed my teeth" over (the other was Florida Light by Ashley Woodson) and I've learned it's sometimes best to just move on and find a different, more satisfying puzzle to enjoy instead and, thankfully, Galison has plenty others to choose from. :-D Good luck if you buy this and congrats to those who have finished it, you have my respect and admiration. :-)

Help!

While this puzzle is beautiful it is ridiculously too hard. I want challenge from my puzzles not total frustration. Spending hours for little reward is not my idea of fun. Too many pieces with tiny images and the same color. How about some sort of key printed on the back so that this puzzle can be solved and not given up on.
