Our punch needle kits are a new addition to the craft lineup, featuring designs by Anne Bentley, Molly Egan, and Liv Lee. Each kit includes printed fabric, yarn, and a punch needle tool - everything needed to create a textured, raised textile art piece. No prior textile experience required.
A Textile Craft That Doesn’t Require Years of Practice
Punch needle is one of the more accessible forms of textile art. You push a threaded needle through a stretched fabric to create loops on the other side, building up a raised, almost rug-like texture. The technique is repetitive and meditative - closer to the rhythm of puzzling than to freehand embroidery.
Our kits lower the entry barrier further by providing everything in one box: fabric with the design pre-printed, yarn in the right colors, and a punch needle tool. The patterns come from illustrators in our roster, so the finished pieces have the same design quality as our other products.
These are new to our catalog and represent our first step into textile-based craft kits.
