Anne Bentley Puzzles and Gifts

Anne Bentley's illustrations have a particular warmth that's hard to pin down but easy to recognize. Her scenes are filled with small narrative details - dogs on sofas, inspirational wall art, shelves of books, cats in glamorous poses, cobblestone Paris streets - rendered in a palette that leans cozy rather than bright. There's personality in every corner of her compositions, which is what makes them work so well as puzzles.

You're always finding something new in the image, even on a second or third look.

Our Bentley collection covers puzzles in several piece counts and formats, plus stationery, reusable tote bags, and a craft kit.

Pet Puzzles: Cats, Dogs, Bunnies, and Presidential Animals

Bentley's animal illustrations are some of her most popular work, and a big part of why this collection exists. These aren't photorealistic pet portraits - they're illustrated scenes with humor and personality baked into every detail.

Glamour Cats 1000 Piece Puzzle puts cats in luxurious settings surrounded by fashion accessories and vintage decor. If you're buying for someone who treats their cat like royalty, this is the obvious choice. Better Together 1000 Piece Puzzle brings cats and dogs into the same plant-filled room, with wall art that reads "better together" and "be a good human."

Lounge Dogs 500 Piece Puzzle is the lighter, faster option - dogs claiming every piece of furniture in a living room. Paws for Love at 500 pieces features cats and dogs together, and it's also available as a greeting card puzzle if you want something small enough to mail.

Then there's Presidents' Pets 2000 Piece Puzzle - every pet that's lived in the White House, from John Adams' horses to modern-day presidential dogs. At 2000 pieces, it's one of the largest puzzles we make and a genuinely fun trivia piece as much as it is a puzzle challenge. And Bunny Daydream at 1000 pieces rounds things out with a whimsical bunny lost in a sea of botanical detail.

You'll find more animal puzzles from other artists in our Cats & Dogs Puzzles collection.

Lifestyle, City Scenes, and Everything Else

The non-animal puzzles show a different side of Bentley's work - cozy interiors, city streets, food culture.

Love Lives Here at 1000 pieces is one of her most recognizable designs. It's a neighborhood scene filled with uplifting wall quotes and warm interiors that feels like a visual hug. Parisian Life 1000 Piece Panoramic Puzzle captures everyday Paris in a wide-format illustration - narrow cobblestone streets, cafe culture, Le Marais-style storefronts. The panoramic format gives the scene room to breathe in a way a square image wouldn't.

Main Street Books at 1000 pieces is one of the newer additions - seven book-shaped buildings, each representing a different literary genre. Mystery, horror, romance, sci-fi, culinary - every storefront has genre-specific details that reward close attention.

Pajama Mamas features five women in fashionably printed pajamas, and Cocktail Map of the USA paints a map of the U.S. with signature cocktails from all 50 states.

For Halloween, Spooky Portraits 500 Piece Foil Puzzle is a Victorian gallery wall of haunted portraits - monsters, ghouls, and supernatural creatures in ornate frames with gold foil accents. The Gothic aesthetic works for horror fans year-round, but it's especially popular in the autumn.

Why Bentley Puzzles Feel More Approachable Than They Look

Something worth knowing about Bentley's style if you're choosing a puzzle for someone: her illustrations are packed with distinct small objects, text snippets, patterns, and individual characters. In assembling terms, that means you rarely hit large stretches of uniform color.

Almost every cluster of pieces has a recognizable anchor - a book spine, a quote on a wall, a patterned cushion, a specific pet face. This makes sorting faster and gives you more "aha" moments during assembly. A 1000-piece Bentley puzzle typically plays quicker than a 1000-piece photograph or abstract design because there's always something specific to look for.

Beyond Puzzles

Bentley's Parisian Life illustration carries across a few non-puzzle products - an A5 notebook with 136 lined pages and a greeting assortment notecard set with multiple card designs from the same street scene.

Two reusable shopping bags feature the Main Street Books and Love Lives Here illustrations. And the Corgi Friends Punch Needle Kit is a craft project with pre-printed fabric, yarn, and instructions for creating a corgi-themed textile piece - the only craft item in the collection.
