Illustration United Kingdom
Louise Cunningham has been working as a freelance illustrator and surface pattern designer since 2005. She works digitally but loves giving her work a hand drawn, wonky quality. She enjoys filling her work with texture, whimsy and charm, as well as 'scrummy colour' palettes. Her favorite things to draw are dogs, quirky old nicknacks from vintage markets, and flowers.

Our Holiday Puzzle Specialist

Louise Cunningham's work is built for the season between Thanksgiving and New Year’s. Her illustrations feature cozy village scenes, festive interiors, holiday markets, and snow-covered landscapes - all rendered in a warm, richly detailed style that leans nostalgic without tipping into generic.

The collection skews toward smaller, gift-ready formats. You’ll find puzzle ornaments (130-piece miniatures in hanging boxes), mini puzzles, 500-piece holiday scenes, and a 1000-piece design. Several of her pieces appear in our puzzle ornaments and puzzle advent calendar collections.

How People Use These

Cunningham’s puzzles are some of our most gifted products. The ornament puzzles go into stockings and onto tree branches. The mini puzzles work as holiday dinner party favors. The larger formats become seasonal traditions - families who set up the same puzzle every December.

If you’re building a holiday gift around a theme, her work pairs well with other seasonal items from our catalog.
