Mid-Century Modern Meets Puzzle Art

Troy Litten’s illustrations have a retro graphic quality - bold shapes, flat perspective, saturated colors, and compositions that feel influenced by mid-century poster design. His subjects include nature scenes, birds, seasonal landscapes, and stylized cityscapes, all rendered with clean lines and a confident sense of color.

For puzzling, this graphic approach creates a satisfying assembly experience. The strong color contrasts make sorting intuitive, and the bold shapes give you clear visual anchors across the puzzle surface. The flat perspective means you’re working with distinct color zones rather than subtle gradients, which most puzzlers find enjoyable rather than frustrating.

Beyond Puzzles

The collection includes a greeting card set, a tote bag, and a magnet set - all carrying the same mid-century-influenced visual style. These make good add-on gifts alongside a puzzle, or standalone picks for fans of retro-modern illustration.
