Tons of fun! And beautiful colors...

We got this puzzle for Christmas from my mom. I feel that I can't really have enough puzzles right now because of the need to stay home, so it was a welcome gift. We enjoyed putting it together a little bit every day and I was a tad sad when it was completed because my 18-year old would actually take a break from his computer screen to work on this with me. It was a lot of fun!

The pieces are solid and high-quality, and there are some quirky pieces that at first were frustrating, but that I ended up liking. For instance, there are some pieces that don't fit with another puzzle piece, they just rest up against it. Those can be problematic, but I ended up enjoying the challenge. If you like Frank Stella and puzzles, this is a great buy.

5/5

Had a lot of fun with this one. Those with impaired color vision might find it vexing.

So satisfying.

Pre-pandemic me (an ADHD mom of 3 boys) never considered puzzles. Why? No idea. They are perfect if you have the space to set it up and leave it there for the duration. Magical. This one, especially, took me a good long time, and is BEAUTIFUL!

Don't start with edge pieces

Started working this puzzle the traditional way - sorting for edge pieces and completing the border. That doesn't work with this unique shape, so save yourself the effort and go for colors instead. Once I went with that approach I thoroughly enjoyed this unusual, challenging puzzle. I highly recommend it but did not rate 5 for two reasons: one piece was split so that the top and bottom separated (although it was easy to glue back together), and at least one edge piece was so unusually shaped that it didn't have anything to hold it to the puzzle (see image). The pieces are also pretty small which I didn't mind because the overall size was then small enough to fit on my puzzle board even with 750 pieces. If you are looking for something different and/or a colorful challenge, this one is for you.
